Tasha Ghouri is adamant the Strictly curse will not impact her as she’s blissfully happy with Andrew Le Page.

Since the very first series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2004, while the routines have been the main attraction, backstage antics have also spiked interest.

There has long been speculation that a curse is in existence on the BBC show. The supposed curse refers to individuals taking part in Strictly who are already in relationships and who end up finding romance with fellow participants.

However, Tasha, 26, is certain that her relationship with Love Island co-star Andrew, 29, will survive her partnership with Aljaž Škorjanec.

After two years together, Tasha is confident that they are going to be together forever Strictly or not Strictly.

Speaking about how she views Andrew, Tasha said: ‘Andrew, to me, is the hottest man on this whole planet.

‘I look at him and I’m like: ‘Yeah, that’s my man!’ Me and Andrew trust each other 100 per cent,’ she sweetly added to The Sun.

‘It’s not a make-or-break for us. We’re going to breeze through this because we’re going to marry each other one day, you know?’

She added that the pair haven’t even discussed the Strictly curse because they completely trust each other, and so it’s not something they think about.

Tasha has been partnered with Aljaž, who is making a comeback after two years away. The pairing are currently the second favourite to win the contest at 4/1, behind JB Gill and Amy Dowden, according to the latest odds by Ladbrokes.

Rather than fearing the new partnership, ‘supportive’ Andrew was delighted at how well they get along and has been popping in to some training sessions. He’s even been learning a few moves himself, which has amused Tasha.

Aljaž, 34, is also in his own happy relationship with Janette Manrara, 40 – the spouses share a daughter, one-year-old Lyra.

The two couples have even been out on double dates, with little Lyra joining in on the fun too.

Tasha and Andrew finished fourth in Love Island in 2022, which was won by Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and her now ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.

The pair have remained together ever since, and are currently renovating their first purchased home.

They are often seen together on social media, travelling the world and updating their fans on their relationship.

On tonight’s episode, Tasha will be dancing a Cha-cha-cha to Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter, after blocking out complaints.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
