Thomas Skinner has revealed that his two-year-old twin daughters have spent all night in hospital after both suffering fits.

The former Apprentice star, 34, was the first to leave Strictly Come Dancing with pro-partner Amy Dowden following plenty of controversy in the build-up to the show.

Returning to social media after his exit, Skinner thanked fans for ‘their lovely messages of support’.

Now, however, the Essex businessman has shared how his twin daughters, Roma and Dalia, ‘spent all night in the hospital’.

Writing on X, he said: ‘We are having a proper s*** time recently. My twins have spent all night in the hospital.

‘Thank you to the wonderful NHS for looking after them. Back home with them now. They’ve both now had 2 fits each and it is so so scary.’

Last month during Strictly training, Skinner introduced his dancing partner Dowden to his wife and children.

He proudly shared photos of Amy and his wife Sinead cuddled up with his three children Henry, five, and Roma and Dalia as she came round for dinner.

Shortly afterwards, the Strictly pair practiced their routine in the dining room.

‘Had my lovely Strictly partner @amy_dowden come over and meet my little family after we finished training today,’ Thomas told his followers.

‘My Kids absolutely LOVE Amy. She is so good with them, they love her to bits. Bless them. Sinéad made us a double lovely dinner and they are gonna be friends for life.’

Dowden, who returned to the BBC reality series after being given the all clear following her diagnosis with an aggressive form of stage three breast cancer, recently spoke about her short time on the new series.

She said on the show: ‘I’ve got to know the real Tom, and he is adorable. He’s looked after me. We’ve laughed so much.

‘We’ve worked so hard and a glitterball would have been amazing but what I’ve learnt in the last few years is happiness, health and being alive is more important than anything.’
