“Summer House” star Carl Radke has a confession. He has feelings for his co-star Ciara Miller and is letting her know all about it. In the 12th episode of season 9, Radke caught Miller up on his dating life. But she wasn’t expecting to hear what he had to say.

In the preview for the episode, fans saw the Soft Bar owner sit down with Miller at the Snooze Fest party and catch her up on his new life as a single man since his split from ex-fiancee Lindsay Hubbard.
Radke told the model that he hooked up with someone for the first time since his breakup. Then, he unexpectedly made his move on Miller.
“I need a brunette, Ciara,” Carl said, before adding, “You need a brunette.” Clearly shocked by what he just said to her, Miller took a beat before responding, “You’re not wrong.”
The friends continued to joke with each other before Radke dropped the bomb. He wonders if there could be something more between them.
“I mean, you’re (expletive) beautiful,” he said. “You’re an incredible person. I feel like I should just let you know, I kinda have a crush on you.”

Miller was clearly caught off guard, as he tried to explain that it was about more than being attracted to her good looks. He told her that he liked who she is as a person, and described her as “emotionally intelligent” and “very smart.”
“You have good morals and you care about (expletive) that matters, right?” Radke said. “The fact that you are a nurse, I think speaks so much more about who you are deep down.”Â
Radke told Miller that he’s always thought she was “an amazing person,” but he knew he didn’t “have any shot in hell.” And it turns out, he was right. Despite his big crush confession, Miller says she won’t date Radke.
âObviously, Iâve had my fair share of house romance, and I am recovering. So Iâm on the road to recovery, and I have to like stick through that,” Miller told Us Weekly.
Why Ciara Miller Won’t Date Her ‘Summer House’ Co-star
Miller was flattered by Radke’s admission, and she admits she used to be attracted to him. But there is no way she is going to put her friendship with Hubbard in jeopardy. She and Hubbard have become close since she announced her pregnancy with boyfriend Taylor in the summer of 2024.Â
Miller didn’t think testing out a possible relationship with Radke would be a smart move when Hubbard was heavily pregnant. She didn’t want to “be stepping on people’s toes.”
She jokingly said that she loves Radke, but she wasn’t expecting a crush confession. Still, she gets it.
“I feel like me and Carl have such a special relationship, and we did have a lot of quality time this summer, and it was so great to get to get to know him in a different light,” she shared.
