The Daily Mail reported on November 3, 2025 that they had learned Reid had broken things off with her boyfriend of six years, music producer Nathan Montpetit-Howar.
The outlet says Reid felt the relationship was no longer serving her. They reported she believes it has “run its course” and become “bad for her.”

TMZ says Reid explained that she went to hotel bar at the Rosemont on Saturday night for a drink, before walking outside to smoke a cigarette. She said a YouTuber who was a part of a group she met int he lobby accompanied her outside.
Reid said she returned to the lobby and noticed a napkin over her wine glass that wasn’t placed there by her, and the last thing she remembers is finishing her drink before waking up in the hospital.
Paramedics responded to the hotel a little after midnight to transport Reid, who reports she only had one drink on the night in question.
