<p id=”par-1_68″><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/teen-mom-bar-smiths-criminal-charges-updated.html/”>Bar Smith</a> has found himself in trouble with the Nevada legal system yet again. Smith, who famously appeared on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/teen-mom/?swcfpc=1″><em>Teen Mom</em> </a>with his ex-fiancée, Ashley Jones, had a bench warrant issued for his arrest last week. He spent more than six months behind bars in the state last year. Apparently, the former reality TV star didn’t think it was necessary to adhere to the conditions of his probation.</p>

<p id=”par-2_51″>Bar Smith appears to be lying low right now. The former <em>Teen Mom</em> star has a bench warrant issued against him. According to <a href=”https://www.theashleysrealityroundup.com/2025/06/17/teen-mom-news-pile-bar-smith-is-once-again-wanted-by-the-law-jenelle-evans-is-once-again-open-to-having-kids-more/?utm_source=chatgpt.com” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Ashley Reality Roundup Group</a>, a bench warrant was issued for Smith on June 10. The troubled star failed to comply with the requirements of his informal probation.</p>

<p id=”par-3_67″>According to the outlet, a judge ordered Smith to attend parenting classes, submit to a substance abuse evaluation, and find a therapist. The probation orders came after he accepted a plea deal in February. Apparently, Smith has failed to prove he has taken classes or attended therapy. Smith was also ordered not to contact the mother or his child. He appears to have adhered to that requirement. </p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-why-is-he-on-probation-in-nevada”>Why is he on probation in Nevada?</h2>
<p id=”par-4_64″>Bar Smith was on probation in Nevada after agreeing to a plea deal that saw him spend six months behind bars. He was charged with <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/teen-mom-drama-ashley-jones-and-shen-williams-trade-insults-on-social-media-while-bar-smith-sits-in-jail.html/”>domestic violence and kidnapping.</a> The charges stem from a July 2024 incident where he traveled from his home in California to Nevada, where he barricaded himself and Jones inside her apartment. The former flames had broken up months prior.</p>

<p id=”par-5_85″>Smith was taken into custody without incident and remained in jail as he navigated the legal process. He was released from a Henderson detention center in February 2025. Bar wasn’t exactly a free man, though. He was transferred back to California, where a warrant had also been issued for the troubled star. The state of California was on the lookout for him thanks to a 2021 incident where<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/why-teen-mom-2-star-ashley-jones-fiance-was-arrested.html/”> he discharged a weapon </a>at his then-girlfriend’s graduation party. He has been free since March 2025. </p>
<p id=”par-6_35″>It is unclear where Smith is at the moment, but it’s safe to say he probably isn’t in the state of Nevada. He has not dealt with the legal drama as of press time. </p>
