As per Variety, the Golden Globes honored Tunisian actress Hend Sabry with the Omar Sharif Award and Indian star Alia Bhatt with the Golden Globe Horizon Award, placing both actresses firmly in Hollywood’s global spotlight.

The gala blended Hollywood prestige with international cinema, drawing major industry names. Among those in attendance were directors Sean Baker and Darren Aronofsky, actresses Sigourney Weaver, Naomie Harris, Shailene Woodley, and Olga Kurylenko, and actor-director Idris Elba. Actors Édgar Ramírez, Salman Khan, Henry Golding, and Riz Ahmed were also present.

Dick Clark Productions, part of a joint venture between Variety parent company PMC and Eldridge, owns the Golden Globes.
