The Apprentice is almost over for another year, marked by the annual round of iconic interviews in which the final five must prove they have the business savvy to make it big.

With a £250,000 investment by Lord Alan Sugar up for grabs, 20 contestants have had to overcome several weeks of tasks, supervised by Baroness Karen Brady and Tim Campbell, to have the chance to pitch their business idea.

Going into Thursday night’s episode, the final five were Dan Miller, Karishma Vijay, Lawrence Rosenberg, Pascha Myhill, and Priyesh Bathia, who were subject to several gruelling interviews picking apart their lifelong dream.

In years gone by, the interview episode has created several legendary TV moments, including Claude Littner losing it at 2014 finalist Solomon Akhtar’s portfolio of pictures and the time Mike Soutar secretly purchased candidate Jade Nash’s website URL before the interview.

Now, we’re adding another one to the list after Priyesh endured an eye-wincing chat with Mike about his small mobile cocktail ‘business’, which he is hoping to scale to a national brand.

The interview gets off to a painful start after Mike asks if he is a registered company or even keeps a set of accounts, to which Priyesh responds a resounding ‘no’.

In brutal cutdown, Mike declares: ‘I would call that a hobby then rather than a business.’

Next, in an impromptu twist, he challenges Priyesh to make him a Paloma cocktail to showcase ‘what’s so special about it’.

With a double shot of tequila, the world’s most awkward bottle toss, and a shaky pour, the results are about as chaotic as you would expect! Mike generously dubbed it ‘drinkable’, a win!

The cherry on top of this car crash interview came at the very end, however, when Priyesh got visibly confused as to where on earth the exit was and ended up wandering about like a lost puppy as Mike shook his head in endearment.

Needless to say, the entire saga, topped off by the hilarious exit, has absolutely delighted Apprentice fans far and wide.

‘Sorry but I can’t help but stan Priyesh. What a chaotic king,’ karl wrote on X.

‘Priyesh has just delivered the greatest interview exit in the history of The Apprentice,’ Karl Cunliffe declared.

‘Priyesh being priyesh lmaoo,’ itsme posted.

‘Awww literally had Priyesh spiralling out the door,’ Uzoamaka said.

‘Priyesh may not have secured Lord Sugar’s investment but I’m sure he’s won a lot of hearts,’ DCT shared.

Sadly, despite winning the title of ‘cutest Apprentice contestant ever’, on the show itself it wasn’t meant to be and he was fired alongside two other candidates in the boardroom.

Now going into the final are Pascha and Karishma, who will battle it out for the crown.

The Apprentice returns on Thursday, April 16 at 9pm with the dramatic conclusion.
