The Apprentice viewers baffled over contestants’ ‘annoying’ fashion choices: ‘They’re like walking coat hangers’

The Apprentice viewers have been left pretty confused over fashion choices made by some of the remaining contestants.

Lord Alan Sugar’s hunt for his next business partner has been narrowed down to an all female final five, after Simba Rwambiwa became the latest entrepreneur to be fired.

Thursday’s episode saw the six hopefuls tasked with branding and creating a dog food product, but it didn’t go down to well in the boardroom.

However, it wasn’t the project that viewers were focused on, as some of the contestants’ outfits seemed to distract them.

In numerous scenes, the likes of Dani Donovan and Victoria Goulbourne were seen wearing suit jackets worn over their shoulders ‘like a cape’.

And viewers weren’t keen on the look.

‘Am I just really unfashionable or does the ‘I’m going to just place my jacket on my shoulders instead of wearing it like a normal person’ trend look absolutely ridiculous?’ one person wrote.

Another fumed: ‘Arrgghhh put your jackets on. Why do several of the candidates put jackets over their shoulders?’ while someone else joked: ‘Dani never once wearing a jacket correctly is inspirational’.

Another penned: ‘Why can’t they just put their arms in the sleeves of their jackets? They’re like walking coat hangers’, with someone else saying: ‘These people wearing their jackets as capes on #theapprentice are annoying me’.

Does she ever have problems with her jacket falling off her shoulders? It’s either on or off. #theapprentice

Dani and Victoria are joined by Megan HornbyRochelle Anthony and Victoria Goulbourne as they approach the final hurdle and the dreaded interview stage.

Talking about making it to the final, hair salon owner Dani said: ‘It feels quite surreal, I never expected to get this far when entering the process. It was a massive shock, but from the number of times I’ve been on the winning team in tasks, I know I absolutely deserve to be in the final five.’

The 25-year-old continued: ‘I’ve thrown myself into every task and have given everything one-hundred and ten percent, and that I’m proud of.’

Gushing over ‘girl power’, Rochelle, 35, added: ‘I’m completely over the moon! Ecstatic and really proud to have got this far in the competition.’
