
Apple TV+ has finally confirmed the premiere date for the highly anticipated fourth season of its hit drama, “The Morning Show”.
The Emmy-winning series, starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, is set to return on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, according to the official Press Release by Apple TV+.

Season 4 of The Morning Show will debut on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, exclusively on Apple TV+.
The season will roll out with one episode per week, airing every Wednesday through November 19, 2025. The season will consist of 10 episodes total.
What to Expect in Season 4
Set in the spring of 2024, nearly two years after the dramatic season 3 finale, the new season picks up with UBA and NBNâs merger now complete. The newsroom is grappling with its growing influence amid a climate of deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and corporate deception.
According to the official synopsis, the season explores “the elusive nature of truth in a polarized America.” Expect tense newsroom politics, new betrayals, and challenging questions about trust and media responsibility.
Whoâs Returning to the Cast?
Jennifer Aniston (Alex Levy) and Reese Witherspoon (Bradley Jackson) return to lead a powerful ensemble, joined by:
Jon Hamm as tech mogul Paul Marks
Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison
The cast also includes Nicole Beharie, Karen Pittman, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee, Néstor Carbonell, Jeremy Irons, Aaron Pierre, William Jackson Harper, and Boyd Holbrook. Marion Cotillard has come on board as newcomer Celine Dumont.
Aniston teased the upcoming season is âjam-packed,â while Hamm hinted his characterâs relationship with Alex âmay not be over yet.â
“The Morning Show” has been a consistent awards-season contender since its debut. Streaming globally on Apple TV+, the showâs third season earned 16 Emmy nominations, with Billy Crudup winning for his role as Cory Ellison. Crudup also took home a Critics’ Choice Award, while the season was included in AFIâs Top 10 TV Programs of 2023.
Earlier seasons also brought in Emmy nods for Reese Witherspoon, Marcia Gay Harden, and Mimi Leder, while Jennifer Aniston won a SAG Award for her role as Alex Levy. Leder, who directed and executive produced the season finales of both seasons one and three, received Emmy recognition for her work behind the camera.
The series is showrun and executive produced by Charlotte Stoudt, with Mimi Leder returning as director and executive producer. It is produced by Media Res, with executive producers Michael Ellenberg, Lindsey Springer, Witherspoon, Aniston, Lauren Neustadter, Kristin Hahn, Zander Lehmann, and Micah Schraft.
