Noah Wyle has enjoyed an incredibly successful acting career thanks to roles in both “ER” and “The Pitt,” while also appearing in other captivating shows and movies. That’s why it shouldn’t be surprising to find out that the multiple award-winning performer just received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Although the famous figure shone brightly while smiling for the cameras at the special event where he was the main focus, we can’t ignore the fact that he was surrounded by his wife (and recent guest star on “The Pitt”) and his three treasured children.
Noah Says His Family Gives His Life ‘Meaning and Definition’
When Wyle was recognized with the impressive show business honor on Thursday, April 9, his family was there to celebrate with the star. The group included “his wife Sara and his kids, daughter Frances, 10, whom he shares with his wife, as well as daughter Auden, 20, and son Owen, 23, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Tracy Warbin,” according to People.
“To my wife, Sara, and my three amazing children, Owen, Auden and Frances, you are my north, south, east, west. You are the reason I get up,” Wyle told his family during his speech. “You’re my motivation to try harder. Youâre the source of my creativity. I thank you for your inspiration and for giving my life meaning and definition.”
People notes that the adorable “family was all smiles as they posed together before and after the ceremony. The ER alum wore a light blue suit with black shoes, while his wife opted for a blue embroidered dress and matching shoes.”
As for the kids, People explains that Wyle’s “son Owen wore an all-beige suit with brown dress shoes, while his daughter Auden wore a floor-length, flower-printed dress and a jean jacket. His youngest, daughter Frances, wore a light pink plaid dress with bows on it and white shoes.”

Plenty of viewers had a crush on Wyle when he appeared as Dr. John Carter on “ER,” and now, thanks to his role as Dr. Michael ‘Robby’ Robinavitch on “The Pitt,” he “has officially reentered heartthrob status,” People notes while adding that “his kids are amused by it.”
When People caught up with Wyle at the Gotham TV Awards on Monday, June 2, he “reacted to being a crush to an entirely new generation.” He also noted that it was “his three children … who informed him of his new status and adds that they haven’t exactly treated him any differently.”
When People asked Wyle “if his children were embarrassed by the fact that their friends may have a crush on their dad,” he explained, “If they are, they haven’t told me they’re embarrassed. I think they’re just amused. I think they’re more amused because they know how much it embarrasses me, and how out of touch I feel to it all. So, I think that’s mostly what they get out of it.”
