In a crossover nobody expected, Tobey Maguire and Ice Spice were spotted ‘locking lips’ at an exclusive celeb party.
The Spider-Man actor, 51, was partying in the Hamptons when he was seen speaking to a woman with long red hair, thought to be the 26-year-old rapper.
One photo seemed to show the pair kissing, with the red-haired woman leaning down to get close to his face and Tobey putting his hand on her arm.
It’s unclear from the snaps whether they are in a passionate embrace or simply discussing in depth all the celebrity gossip (probably about Taylor Swift’s wedding).
They were at Michael Rubin‘s annual Fourth of July party, dubbed the White Party, so the music was likely loud, meaning conversations would need to be in close proximity.
It’s rumoured that the Fanatics CEO held his annual party slightly early to accommodate the big Swift-Kelce wedding, but Michael denied this.
‘We were debating the dates. We were certainly aware of that date, but we didn’t change it because of that date,’ he told People Magazine. ‘But we were aware of that date and we didn’t want to have people have to choose.’
We’re not sure how much the all-white party guestlist would clash with Taylor’s Madison Square Garden event, but Jay-Z and Cardi B were said to be in attendance.
According to Page Six, the party saw Alicia Keys take the stage, while Snoop Dogg performed on the roof of the mansion, and Cardi and Lil Wayne were in the club area.
The star-studded guest list included Sofia Vergara, Martha Stewart, Pete Davidson, Emma Roberts, Tate McRae, Nina Dobrev, and Tobey’s bestie Leonardo DiCaprio.
Other celebs spotted included Teyana Taylor, Mike Tyson, both of the Paul brothers (Jake and Logan), influencer Alix Earle, Winnie Harlow, and Kris Jenner’s partner Corey Gamble.
Page Six also confirmed that Ice Spice and Tobey did attend the party, but their insider didn’t mention any kissing or the nature of their relationship.
The pictures of (potentially) Ice Spice and Tobey Maguire shocked fans who branded it the ‘most random thing ever’.
‘This is one of those celebrity pairings that feels like someone clicked “randomize”😭,’ wrote 1646Sam on X.
Dami added it was ‘not a duo i would’ve guessed in a million years’, as Ghostffs said: ‘so random even Tobey looks surprised.’
‘This is the kind of crossover nobody asked for but everyone’s going to talk about for the next week,’ joked Darkink.
Tobey was most recently believed to be dating 20-year-old influencer Mishka Silva, with whom he attended the Super Bowl and got a fair amount of online flak for.
Previously, he dated model Tatiana Dieteman, 34, from 2018 to 2021, having divorced Jennifer Meyer, 49, after nine years together.
