Tom Holland actually just vomited on camera – his reaction is insane

Tom Holland has become the first person to actually vomit on the set of ?HOT ONES?.

Tom Holland is living his best life right now, as the kids probably say.

The 30-year-old actor has married the love of his life; he’s just starred in one of the biggest and best movies of the year; oh, and he’s Spider-Man.

It was perhaps inevitable then that life, as it so often does, would throw a curveball at Kingston upon Thames most famous son.

The Odyssey star recently appeared on Hot Ones, the show that asks if celebrities can remember their PR talking points while eating chemical weapons spread on chicken.

And it seems as though it was all a bit much for Holland, who, unfortunately, did a little bit of sick while filming (although he blamed the milk).

Yet it’s not the fact that Holland hurled that surprised people (after all, everybody pukes); it was the nonchalant way he reacted that surprised people.

The clip begins with Holland, Jon Bernthal, and Hot Ones host Sean Evans all lining up to film

As a person off camera yells ‘okaay we’re rolling,’ though, Holland starts coughing and doubles over.

While the expert editing cuts off the exact moment Holland vomits,Bernthal fills us in on what happened by yelling ‘what the f***!’.

Holland then bursts out laughing as Bernthal wraps his arm around him and shouts, ‘let’s go’.

In the confusion and chaos, Holland then tells the crew they can use the shot of him chundering while bragging he ‘didn’t get any of it on his phone’.

Bernthal then asks, ‘Has anyone puked before?’ to which Evans replies, ‘That might be the first on set’.

At which point a triumphant Holland declares, ‘I love being the first’.

Fans were rather shocked by the whole thing, especially on X where the clip went viral.

@Captainornot wrote: ‘First guest to actually throw up on the set and his immediate response is I love being the first!

‘”Mr Stark, I don’t feel so good” took on a whole new meaning on Hot Ones today. Tom Holland is wild for letting them keep that in the final cut!’

@FluffedIron1209 added: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever in my life seen someone laughing after throwing up. My whole day is RUINED after throwing up.’

‘Bro survived Thanos and can’t even handle chicken wings,’ joked @memely.

While Holland might be the first to vomit on screen, he’s hardly the first celeb to have a biological malfunction after taking part.

How spicy is Da Bomb really?

Our Deputy TV Editor Tom Percival shares his experience eating ‘Da Bomb’, one of Hot One’s most notorious sauces.

Da Bomb is a 135,600 Scoville unit sauce. On paper, that’s not actually that bad. For context, a Ghost Chilli or Carolina Reaper-based sauce will have a Scoville rating somewhere in the six-figure range.

And yet I don’t mind telling you that eating Da Bomb is one of the most miserable experiences of my life. The taste alone was terrible; it was like chewing pickled wasps and every bit as painful.

Still, the worst thing about it was that, unlike other hot sauces I’ve tried, the pain didn’t ease up after a few minutes. It lingered like a fart in an elevator, numbing my mouth and ruining the taste of my meal.

Still, as bad as it was, at least it didn’t make me vomit…

His Odyssey co-star Matt Damon also threw up after taking part in the challenge and told Holland as much when on the New York Times’ cooking show.

‘Didn’t I tell you when I did it, I threw up? Off camera, but yeah,’ he laughed.

Still, that’s not as bad as poor Bobby Lee. The comedian had an ‘accident’ while filming and pooped himself on camera.

Yeah, let’s leave that there…
