Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr and her husband, billionaire co-founder and CEO of Snap Inc. Evan Spiegel, have had quite a scare. The couple’s “$55 million home [was] breached by a gate-jumping trespasser,” according to TMZ.
What makes the incident even more alarming is the fact that the home is where the pair live with their children, Hart (7), Myles (6) and Pierre (2), as well as Flynn (15), whom Kerr shares with her ex, Orlando Bloom.
Details About Kerr & Spiegel’s ‘Late Night Security Scare’
While it’s unclear if Kerr, Spiegel, and their children were home at the time of the shocking situation, their residence “became the scene of a late night security scare after a suspect jumped the gate and made it onto their property,” per TMZ. “Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ⦠police received a call around 11 PM on April 3 reporting the incident at the couple’s L.A. residence.”
TMZ was informed that “security on site quickly spotted the individual and alerted authorities. When officers arrived, security directed them to the suspect, who was taken into custody without incident. The investigation is ongoing.”
Kerr & Spiegel Aren’t the Only Celebs to Deal with a Trespasser
Unfortunately, other celebrities have also dealt with trespassers. In fact, less than a week ago, on Wednesday, April 1, TMZ reported that “[d]eputies got a call this morning about a trespassing suspect” at the home of Nicki Minaj. TMZ was informed that “the suspect â seen on camera roaming around in the backyard â was described as a white male with a big red beard and long hair, wearing a gray tracksuit. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that the man was arrested at the scene.”
In July 2025, a trespasser was found in the exclusive (and gated) Los Feliz neighborhood, which is home to stars like Angelina Jolie and Kristen Bell.
A trespasser also targeted Kendall Jenner’s home in March 2021, per TMZ. “Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ⦠a 27-year-old man made his way onto Kendall’s L.A. property around 2 AM Sunday and began to knock on windows while yelling her name. We’re told Kendall was home at the time, in a safe location â and her security was alerted and tracking the man’s movements â but the guy stripped off his clothes in an attempt to get in her pool. [S]ources say he was detained by the security guards until cops showed up and arrested him for misdemeanor trespassing.”
