According to Variety, Bryan is stepping into the world of Emily in Paris as Jake, an American who is making a life in Paris. The casting news arrives shortly after “Suits: LA” was canceled in May following just one season.

Laroque, 65, will recur as Yvette, an old friend of Sylvie’s (played by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu). Details about their storylines remain under wraps for now, but fans can expect their characters to stir things up in the City of Light.


Returning Regulars and New Season 5 Additions

Greenberg and Laroque are two of three new recurring characters joining season 5. It was previously revealed that Minnie Driver will also appear as Princess Jane, expanding the show’s glamorous circle.

Other recurring characters set to return include: Nico (Paul Forman), Mindy’s love interest, who debuted in season 3; Laurent G (Arnaud Binard), Sylvie’s husband, first introduced in season 2

Camille Razat Confirms Her Exit

One key character will not be returning. Camille Razat, who portrayed Camille, officially announced her departure from the series in April.

“After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris,” Razat, 31, wrote via Instagram on April 23. “It has been a truly wonderful experience, one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories.”

She went on to thank show creator Darren Star, Netflix, and Paramount for the opportunity to play the fan-favorite role.

“For their trust and for giving me the opportunity to bring Camille to life, and leaving the door open for her return, as she will always be a part of Emily in Paris world,” Razat added.

“Emily in Paris” isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Season 4 debuted at No. 1 on the Netflix Global Top 10 in August, racking up 19.9 million views in just four days.

It landed in the Top 10 across 93 countries and has held its spot on the list for four straight weeks—proof that fans around the world can’t get enough of Emily’s adventures in the city of love!
