Victoria Beckham has confirmed her new title after husband Sir David Beckham was knighted.
Sir David received a knighthood from King Charles at Windsor Castle on November 4 for services to sport and charity.
This meant that Victoria, once Posh Spice and now a bona fide fashion mogul, has quietly acquired yet another title following the prestigious occasion.
Speaking about it publicly for the first time, the 51-year-old confirmed the particulars during an appearance on What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday night.
‘Clear this up for me, if you will. David Beckham, your husband – smokeshow – is now a knight, which means he is Sir David Beckham,’ Andy prompted, as Victoria responded: ‘He is.’
He then asked if that makes the former Spice Girl ‘Lady Victoria’. She replied: ‘I am Lady Beckham.’
In a reference to her long-standing nickname from the Spice Girls, he went on to ask if he could call her ‘Lady Posh’.
‘Listen, whatever you want,’ she quipped. ‘Whatever you want, anything for you.’
While the courtesy title ‘Lady’ is automatically granted to the wife of a newly knighted man, it’s up to the individual whether to use it.
Sir David, 50, was the first to invoke it, shortly after the ceremony.
In photos posted of the family’s celebratory meal at Gordon Ramsay’s Chelsea restaurant, David, wearing a smart velvet suit, and Victoria, in a long satin dress, posed for the camera looking on top of the world.
Captioning two photos of them posing together, David wrote, ‘My lady,’ confirming Victoria’s new name.
David also posed next to his close friend Gordon, thanking him for hosting the intimate family dinner, and posted pictures with his children; Harper, 14, Cruz, 20, and Romeo, 23, saying he loves them all ‘so much’.
Notably absent, as he was for David’s 50th earlier this year, was eldest Beckham child Brooklyn, who is still seemingly in a feud with the rest of his family – although both parents have recently appeared to extend virtual olive branches to their eldest.
Victoria’s social media name remains unchanged for now, but her message on Instagram following the ceremony made it clear just how proud she is of her husband.
Sharing a series of photos from Windsor, the designer wrote that she had ‘never felt prouder’ of David.
She wrote: ‘Whether on or off the pitch, no one loves England or respects our Royal Family more, so to see you honoured by The King today is something I’ll forever cherish.
‘You’ve achieved so much, and yet you’re still the same kind, humble, hardworking man I met nearly 30 years ago, as well as the most amazing husband and father.
‘I’ve never felt prouder than I do today. Sir @davidbeckham, we all love you so much xxx’
Plenty of famous friends flocked to the comments to celebrate the achievement, with actress Hannah Waddingham commenting: ‘This is MMMMMMMAGIC @davidbeckham beaming over here watching from afar. Congratulations.’
Mo Farah wrote: ‘Proud of you as always, mate!

Additional pictures shared by Romeo, the second eldest, revealed that the family dressed to the nines and posed for some snaps in one of the ornate castle reception rooms.
‘No one deserves this more than you, love you so much xxx
Congrats Sir dad 😂 @davidbeckham,’ Romeo captioned the post.
Notably absent was Brooklyn Sir David’s eldest son, who has reportedly been estranged from his parents for many months now.
In an interview at the castle, Sir David revealed what the King thought of his look for the day.
‘He was quite impressed with my suit,’ he told the PA at the event.
‘He’s kind of the most elegantly dressed man that I know, so he inspired quite a few of my looks over the years, and he definitely inspired this look.
‘It was something that my wife made me.
‘I looked at old pictures of him when he was quite young in morning suits and I was like, “OK, that’s what I want to wear,” so I gave it to my wife and she did it.’
Sir David wore a three-piece custom morning suit, the first ever tailored menswear piece from Victoria Beckham.
The suit is crafted from a distinguished British wool mohair blend in a deep charcoal grey, featuring a sharply tailored lapel.
Victoria wore a custom version of the brand’s iconic Bela dress, featuring an elongated asymmetric hem and made in a beautifully textured, rich navy.
