Victoria and David Beckham are celebrating 27 years of marriage together with a special shoutout to their children, despite the ongoing feud.
Britain’s unofficial royal couple tied the knot in an explosion of purple in 1999, with their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham (then only a few months old) in attendance.
From there, the Spice Girls star and former footballer grew their family, with Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21 and youngest daughter Harper, 14. But it’s not all been smooth-sailing, with the famous family rocked by scandal over the past year.
After months of speculation that there was a rift between Brooklyn and his wife Nicola from the rest of the Beckham clan, he confirmed he was estranged from them in a blistering social media post at the start of the year.
Despite being a no-show at several major family events, including Victoria’s Netflix documentary premiere and David’s Knighthood and Hollywood Walk of Fame dedication ceremony, the parents are still keeping him in mind during their major milestones.
In a post celebrating their wedding anniversary, the fashion designer wrote: ‘After 27 years of marriage, four amazing children and countless matching outfits, you’re still my *everything*. Happy anniversary!! I love you so much.’
Meanwhile, David added in his own caption: ’29 years together, 27 years married & you have given me everything I could ever wish for. Our proudest achievement will always be our family. I love you & Happy Anniversary.’
Their friends flocked to the comments to celebrate their long-lasting romance with stars like Kim Kardashian, Gordon Ramsay and Eva Longoria all wishing them a happy anniversary.
It is understood that Brooklyn has blocked his family on social media and previously requested that he not be tagged in posts, although both Victoria and David have continued to do so.
A source shared that Brooklyn was left ‘fuming’ after his dad included him on an Instagram post to mark Father’s Day last month.
‘It just brings the whole thing up all over again. He wishes they’d leave it and leave him alone,’ the insider added.
The aspiring chef, who is now based in Los Angeles with his wife, has pointedly not posted about his family in months, instead sharing snaps of his time with the Peltz’s during special occasions such as Father’s and Mother’s Day, birthdays and beyond.
During the Beckhams’ trip to LA for David’s newly received star, Brooklyn was notably absent, making a trip to New York. It was during this visit that Harper was seen attempting to meet with her brother, with little success.
Just this week, Nicola appeared to be making a dig at Harper as she celebrated the marriage of her brother Will to Kenya Kinski-Jones, thanking him for ‘officially giving me my dream sister’.
Just two years ago, the billionaire heiress had called Harper her ‘perfect dream little sister’, before Brooklyn severed ties with his family.
Despite no public contact between them, Brooklyn did face backlash for alluding to the feud in a DoorDash advert, calling his absence from the FIFA World Cup ‘complicated’.
