<p id=”par-4_45″>In an episode of <em>Receivers</em>, St. Brown revealed that he and Adams met when they were teenagers and attended Servite High School in Anaheim, California. He recalled that they got to know each other when a teacher paired them up for an English class assignment. </p>
<p id=”par-5_28″>“We had a project and started talking then,” the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/celebrity-athletes/?swcfpc=1″>athlete</a> said. “By the end of my sophomore year, we started dating, and we’ve been together ever since.” </p>

<p id=”par-7_31″>“I got into nursing school and not too long after the draft happened,” Adams shared before St. Brown added, “She tries to come to as many games as she can.” </p>
<p id=”par-8_29″>In July 2024, Adams graduated and became a registered nurse. She also helps run the St. Brown Foundation for youth literacy, founded by her boyfriend and his siblings. </p>
<p id=”par-9_72″>“It’s a focus on literacy, to help get their literacy rates up, because literacy in the United States, but specifically in Michigan, is really low,” Adams told <a href=”https://people.com/brooklyn-adams-talks-amon-ra-st-brown-relationship-exclusive-11835029″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>. “Amon-Ra and I always had great opportunities in education. Our parents did an amazing job giving us those opportunities. Looking back at what we were given, we realized that few people have that. We wanted to give back and make sure that kids get that.”</p>

<p id=”par-11_68″>Her reasoning is simple: “We’re <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/detroit-lions-running-back-jahmyr-gibbs-girlfriend-nicole-anderson.html/”>more than wives and girlfriends</a> of athletes,” she stated. “I have a name, and if you got to know me, then you’d realize that I’m more than just a girlfriend … I don’t like the WAG title. Nothing against anybody who likes it. It’s cute that girls put their own twist on it. But to be given that title, I’m not a fan.”</p>
<p id=”par-12_52″>Adams continued, “There are so many girlfriends and wives who do so much. You have women who work full-time, and women who are moms. You have so many women who are doing so many things behind the scenes that they don’t get seen enough. To be put in this category is discrediting.”</p>
