<p id=”par-2_39″>The <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/nicole-kidman-reese-witherspoon-called-1-big-little-lies-review-sexist.html/”><em>Big Little Lies</em></a><em> </em>and <em>The Morning Show </em>star was spotted getting cozy with Haarmann, a German financier, on July 13 (via <a href=”https://people.com/reese-witherspoon-oliver-haarmann-pda-yacht-getaway-11771697″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a>). The duo indulged in some PDA while on a yacht at the luxurious French vacation destination. </p>
<p id=”par-3_49″>Witherspoon, 49, and Haarmann, 57, were first linked in 2024, though neither has officially confirmed their romance. The actor and producers split from her husband, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/reese-witherspoons-ex-jim-toth-convinced-get-married-again.html/”>entertainment executive Jim Toth</a>, in 2023. They have one son together. She was previously married to Ryan Phillippe, with whom she shares two children. </p>

Haarmann is a founding partner of Searchlight Capital Partners, according to his bio on the firm’s <a href=”https://searchlightcap.com/team/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>website</a>. Previously, he was a senior partner at KKR & Co L.P. in London, where he helped build its European business from a start-up into one of Europe’s leading private equity firms. He has a bachelor’s degree in international relations and history from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard. Haarmann, who is from Germany, is also a minority owner of the NHL’s New York Islanders. </p>
<p id=”par-5_28″>Haarmann occasionally shares his business and financial expertise with news outlets. Last year, he spoke with <a href=”https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2024-06-27/searchlight-s-haarmann-says-strategic-pe-buyers-return-video” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Bloomberg</a> about challenges and opportunities in private equity in a higher-interest-rate environment. </p>
