Who wasn’t at Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s wedding? All feuds and snubs revealed

Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay tied the knot this weekend, but the eyes seem to be more focused on who wasn’t in attendance than on who was.

The Olympic swimming champ, 30, and model, 25, got engaged last September, having confirmed their relationship to the world in June 2023.

Given Adam’s status in the sporting world and the fact that Holly is the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, it’s no surprise that their nuptials were a lavish occasion.

However, while the likes of Sir David Beckham and Victoria Beckham were on the guest list, various feuds between family members in recent months meant certain people were not.

Who did not attend Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s wedding?

Adam’s mum

Adam’s mother, Caroline Peaty, was allegedly ‘banned’ from her son’s wedding.

The rift between Adam and Caroline, 59, has reportedly spilled over from Holly’s hen do, from which she was also absent.

Caroline, who remained at home in Staffordshire as Adam and Holly wed in Bath Abbey, previously told the Daily Mail: ‘I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out.’

She added that ‘this the first Christmas that [she’s] not had [her] family together’, saying their family unit is now ‘broken’.

‘Yes, I have my other grandchildren. Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings-on… because of the wedding.’

Caroline had also originally vowed to ‘watch from the street’ in somewhat of an act of protest on her son’s special day, but she later stood down.

Adam’s relationship with Caroline and his dad, Mark, is thought to be at an ‘all-time low’ (Picture: Instagram)

She is said to have backtracked on her gate-cashing plans after her husband, Mark, convinced her she’d be ‘too upset’ by doing so.

A family member added to The Sun that Caroline ‘now accepts it would be too sad, and she doesn’t want to spoil his big day’.

‘Me going would just cause even more of a storm, and I don’t want to ruin his wedding day,’ Caroline also echoed herself. ‘I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can’t happen now.’

She further mused that perhaps Adam and Holly ‘are too young’ or ‘don’t value family as much’ as she does.

‘They don’t understand that family is the foundation to everything.’

Aunt Louise

Adam’s aunt, Louise Williams, has been pretty outspoken with her support for sister Caroline throughout the so-called family rift.

Taking to Instagram after Holly’s hen bash, she called out the influencer directly, writing: ‘I’m so glad that you had a great hen do. As a bride, you deserve that.

‘However, as a person, you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply.’

Noting chef Gordon’s presence at Adam’s stag, she added: ‘A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law, to your hen night, yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night.

‘You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law.’

She raged that she ‘expected better’ of Holly and ‘definitely’ of Adam, concluding: ‘You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal, if ever.’

James Peaty

With Adam’s relationship with his parents said to be at an ‘all-time low’, his brother, James Peaty, was also struck off the guest list for the wedding.

The Peaty family was thrown into the spotlight when the athlete returned to the UK from his stag do in Budapest, as he was escorted from the plane by police after receiving threats.

James was subsequently arrested and released on bail, having sent Adam verbal threats, which prompted authorities to intervene at Manchester Airport.

At the time, a police statement confirmed that a 34-year-old man had been arrested ‘on suspicion of harassment’.

‘The man was released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue,’ they added.

Sources later claimed that ‘Adam sees his mum to be enabling his brother’s actions’.

The 2021 Strictly star has not publicly addressed the situation with James specifically, writing in a social media statement in November that he, Holly, and sister Bethany, the only immediate relative he’s seemingly remained close with, ‘cannot go into detail given an ongoing police investigation into serious matters that arose long before recent events’.

Adam shares his five-year-old son, George, with ex-girlfriend Eirianedd Munro.

She did not attend her ex’s wedding, but it’s not known if there was a certain reason for that.

Although, Eirianedd has remained close with Adam’s mother, Caroline, who regularly spends time with her grandson.

It’s been said that ‘Caroline and Eirianedd always stayed in touch’, with his mum believing Eirianedd’s ‘normal life’ was more suited to her son.

Adam arrived holding his son’s hand today, the curly-haired little one looking smart in a black suit and bow tie that matched his dad’s.

Why was Brooklyn Beckham not at Holly Ramsay’s wedding?

Sir David and wife Victoria couldn’t be missed at Adam and Holly’s wedding, the ex-footballer putting in a dapper appearance in a tan coat while fashion designer Victoria wore an emerald number from her own collection.

They were joined by sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, plus daughter Harper, 14, but eldest child Brooklyn, 26, was a no-show.

Brooklyn and Holly are childhood friends, the Beckham and Ramsay kids essentially growing up together after both families moved to the US for their dads to strengthen their careers.

They frequently holidayed together, even at Christmastime, with Holly in attendance at Brooklyn’s wedding to actress Nicola Peltz in 2022.

But now, it’s said Brooklyn’s own feud with his parents led to him snubbing her wedding.

It’s believed Brooklyn’s absence has been especially upsetting for Gordon and his wife, Tana Ramsay, with an insider telling the Daily Mail: ‘David and Victoria see Gordon and Tana almost as family. The kids all grew up together.

‘Brooklyn always loved his time with them all, but his and Jack’s (Holly’s twin brother) friendship isn’t really there anymore, which is a great shame.’

They added that ‘Gordon and Tana have been upset at the fallout too’, as they are ‘very, very fond of Brooklyn’.

‘Brooklyn doesn’t appear to see many of his friends he hung out with before Nicola anymore, and that is very sad. These are people who he goes way back with, and Holly is one of them.’

Former photographer Brooklyn spent Christmas with his parents and Nicola last year, but the whole of 2025 has been marred with family drama, the latest being that, having firmly chosen his side, he ‘blocked’ his parents and brothers on social media.
