Lopez joined the show’s host to discuss her new movie, <em>Kiss of the Spider Woman</em>. Though she’s endured some bad press over the past year, the crowd made it clear that they were happy to see her. Lopez appreciated their warm reception. Goldberg, however, did not.</p>

<p id=”par-2_53″>On Oct. 7, Lopez made an appearance on <em><a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IafpAWHAyE” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The View</a></em> to discuss her role in <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jennifer-lopezs-co-star-burst-tears-encouragement-gave-set.html/”>Kiss of the Spider Woman</a></em>. As she walked out to join Goldberg and the other hosts, the crowd burst into applause. Even after she sat down, the crowd continued to clap, with people shouting, “We love you, J.Lo!”</p>
<p id=”par-3_24″>The crowd got to their feet and began chanting “J.Lo, J.Lo, J.Lo, J.Lo!” This prompted Goldberg to stand up and ask them to stop.</p>
<p id=”par-4_11″>“Stop!” she told the crowd. “This is only an hour show!”</p>
<p id=”par-5_17″>“Whoopi, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/jennifer-lopez-always-felt-different-hollywood-celebrities-raised-bronx.html/”>it’s my hometown</a>,” Lopez said as the host continued to work to quiet down the crowd.</p>
<p id=”par-6_16″>“But, this is our gig and we want to talk to you so badly,” Goldberg responded. </p>
