After The Masked Singer UK returned to our screens on Saturday night, viewers have a whole new set of costumes to try and uncover.

Hosted by Joel Dommett, the judging panel on the series currently consists of Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Maya Jama.

Since first hitting screens in 2020, six seasons of the show have aired on ITV, with previous winners being Girls Aloud’s Nicola Roberts, Joss Stone, Natalia Imbruglia, Charlie Simpson, Danny Jones and Samantha Barks.

The format is pretty simple – with contestants hitting the stage to belt out tunes while concealed by pretty unique costumes. The panel of judges are then tasked with figuring out who the singers might be, aided by a series of cryptic clues.

This time around, the 10 costumes will be Moth, Can of Worms, Red Panda, Conkers, Arctic Fox, Toastie, Monkey Business, Yak, Sloth, Gargoyle, Disc Jockey and Teabag.

As the competition kicks off, here’s everything we know about Arctic Fox so far…

What clues are there for Arctic Fox’s identity?

-Arctic Fox made sure to say how they had ‘sharp claws when needed’

Who could Arctic Fox on The Masked Singer be?

There are currently a range of names in the mix to be moonlighting as Arctic Fox.

Bimini Bon Boulash

Maya became convinced that the person behind the costume had some sort of royal link – however instead of taking it super literally, she suggested Drag Race star Bimini Bon Boulash.

‘Instantly I thought Drag Race and the queens and how fabulous this outfit is,’ she said.

The queen is best known for being the runner-up on the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

Queen Camilla

Although he knew the likelihood of Queen Camilla appearing on The Masked Singer was pretty much non-existent, Jonathan still decided to throw her name in the mix. However he then went on to suggest Arctic Fox was American Idol star turned Queen frontman Adam Lambert.

Joe Lycett

Another unlikely guess came from Mo, who suggested comedian Joe Lycett could be under the costume.

The Masked Singer continues Saturday at 7pm on ITV1.
