Celebrity Traitors season two filming is underway in the Scottish castle at this very moment.
The starry 21-strong cast touched down at Inverness Airport over the weekend, as the BBC shared an official announcement clip with the list of names already on chalk slates (admittedly, at baggage claim rather than the roundtable).
The fleet of household names will film the second season over the next two weeks. Inevitably, Claudia Winkleman will select her traitorous troop and they will wage psychological war against the sitting duck Faithful.
But alas, we won’t get to see the results until this autumn.
Heading into the game of wink murder, a source close to the show has claimed that those who have signed up will be conscious of how risky a move it is.
A show insider told The Mirror: ‘While some of them are just in there to have fun, there are others who are very much in there for themselves as a strategic career move, so they are terrified of how they will come across.

‘As it’s the second time round, they’ve seen just how big a boost it can give to a personal brand, but it needs to be orchestrated carefully…
‘One foot wrong, and it could become a PR nightmare.’
The suggestion is that, to varying degrees, the cast will each have a smidgen of something to lose by coming across a fool on this ratings behemoth.
Who will be the pantomime villain? Which of them will be shaped into the witless puppet?
The last season of Celebrity Traitors proved there is no room to hide in the Cluedo-inspired rooms of Ardross Castle.
It also showed how the machinations of each roundtable can seriously warp the viewing public’s perception of their favourites.

BBC viewers were left wondering whether Stephen Fry had been hoodwinking us this whole time about the expanse of his intellect.
Others debated whether Joe Marler was proof that the age-old tussle of brain versus brawn is, in fact, a false binary.
Then there was the whole matter of whether Kate Garraway could really have zero suspicions when her whole job involves being suspicious of what taciturn politicians are telling her?
You might have concluded that the best approach is to play it safe and sink into mid-table anonymity. Maybe this year’s crop of celebs will do the same.
Celebrity Traitors season 2 will air on the BBC this autumn.
