“Golden Bachelor” Gerry Turner has revealed that he was offered a stint on “Bachelor in Paradise,” but he decided not to head to the beach.

Turner told TMZ that he turned down the gig because he doesn’t think he can find a romantic connection with any of the women there.

Turner “already knows the women” who will be on the show, and “he’s already established there’s no romantic spark there,” according to TMZ.

One woman Turner turned down a chance to be reunited with is Leslie Fhima. The Minnesota dancer was the runner-up in his season of “The Golden Bachelor,” which ended with Fhima breaking down into tears when Turner told her he was choosing Theresa Nist.

Turner and Nist married shortly thereafter and soon after that, they announced that they were getting divorced.

According to TMZ, Turner did not completely close the door.

According to TMZ, Turner is open to changing his mind if “Bachelor in Paradise” adds new women into the mix.

He also told the site that he is open to serving as a bartender or appearing for “a cameo.”

According to Bachelor Nation, Susan Noles and Kathy Swarts revealed on their podcast that they are hoping for an invitation to the beach after Jesse Palmer announced on “The Bachelor” that seniors from the casts of “The Golden Bachelor” and “The Golden Bachelorette” will be joining younger contestants on the beach.

“Listen, Bachelor Nation, please put out good vibes for Susan and me. Haunt whoever you know. Send emails, you know telegrams, whatever. That just showed my age,” Swarts said on the podcast, according to Bachelor Nation.

“Golden Bachelorette” contestant Gary Levingston will also join the “Bachelor in Paradise” cast, Palmer said on the show. All of the contestants have not yet been announced.

“For the first time ever, golden men and women will be hitting the beaches of paradise alongside all of your ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ favorites from seasons past, and I don’t know if I’ve ever been more excited for anything ever,” Palmer said during the show.

According to The Hastings Tribune, younger contestants confirmed for the beach are Zoe McGrady, who was in Grant Ellis’s final four, and Jonathan Johnson and Hakeen Moulton of Jenn Tran’s “The Bachelorette” season.
