<p id=”par-2_50″>Bravo is reviving the 2000s-era <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/1-wife-swap-contestant-said-drama-totally-faked.html/”>reality series <em>Wife Swap</em></a><em>, </em>with a twist. The new show, <em>Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition, </em>premieres October 14. It follows four <em>Real Housewives </em>cast members who will switch places with a real wife, exchanging everyday comforts and luxuries for a vastly different familial experience. </p>
<p id=”par-3_67″>“Through unexpected conflicts, eye-opening moments and emotional breakthroughs, the journey challenges everything they thought they knew about themselves and the world around them,” reads Bravo’s description of the show. The process will force the Housewives to consider “if they can appreciate the lives they left behind.” Meanwhile, “the real wives will question whether the aspirational lives showcased on reality TV are truly as glamorous as they appear.”</p>

The four-episode series will feature Angie Katsanevas from <em>The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, </em>Emily Simpson from <em>The Real Housewives of Orange County</em>, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/joe-and-melissa-gorga-think-they-would-kill-it-on-a-competition-show.html/”>Melissa Gorga from <em>The Real Housewives of New Jersey</em></a>, and Dr. Wendy Osefo from <em>The Real Housewives of Potomac. </em></p>
<p id=”par-5_37″>In episode 1, <em>RHOSLC</em>’s Angie swaps her glamorous life with an off-the-grid homesteader. Lindsay Flake’s family lives without electricity, running water, and rules. Will brand name-loving Angie survive the experience and learn to value nature over luxury?</p>
<p id=”par-6_63″>In episode 2, Dr. Wendy – who believes in strict rules and tight schedules – trades places with Alethea Shapiro, a free-spirited Floridian who prioritizes fun, independence, and absolutely no rules. Will <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/rhop-wendy-osefos-mom-asked-hell-she-wanted-karen-hugers-business-advice.html/”>the <em>RHOP </em>star</a> be able to let loose and find a balance between structure and fun? And can Alethea encourage the Osefo family to embrace a more laid-back way of life?</p>
<p id=”par-7_53″>In episode 3, long-time <em>RHONJ </em>cast member Melissa swaps lives with Michelle Clark. The two women are polar opposites. While Melissa is focused on strong family values and organization, Michelle is a disorganized vegan. Will Melissa’s perfectionist lifestyle rub off on Michelle? Can Melissa bring some organization and structure to the Clark family?</p>
<p id=”par-8_66″>In episode 4, <em>RHOC </em>star Emily trades her modern marriage – which includes balancing responsibilities with her husband, Shane – for Caley Svensson’s old-school lifestyle. Caley’s husband Erik is hands-off, but that doesn’t stop Emily from trying to implement some teamwork and structure. Meanwhile, Caley tries to get used to the relaxed OC life while also attempting to crack the tough shell of Emily’s daughter, Annabelle. </p>
