Vince McMahon is reportedly plotting a comeback amid allegations of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
The former WWE boss, who is the subject of recent Netflix documentary series Mr McMahon, is no longer part of the professional wrestling giant and is under federal investigation over the allegations made by former employee Janel Grant, which he has denied.
As reported by PWInsider, sources claim he is in the process of setting up an ‘entertainment hub company’ with the goal of financially backing, developing and producing movie and television projects.
It’s said the company would not be working on plans similar to WWE, but instead focus on fiction and nonfiction projects.
The outlet added that ‘several WWE alumni are already working with McMahon to get the company prepped with the idea of officially unveiling it if/once his legal issues are resolved’.
It’s believed that a number of former WWE executives who previously worked under McMahon are being lined up for the new company.

McMahon resigned as executive chairman of WWE parent company TKO in January 2024 after allegations of sex trafficking and abuse, while Grant’s lawsuit was put on hold in May at the request of the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York to allow for a federal investigation.
The lawsuit contains other graphic descriptions of how she was allegedly violently raped repeatedly and abused in other ways by McMahon and other WWE executives.
He had repeatedly denied the allegations.
McMahon is also facing a separate lawsuit complaint alleging that he ignored sexual abuse within WWE.

WWE, McMahon, TKO, and Vince’s wife Linda McMahon have been named in the lawsuit with claims of negligence which allowed the so-called ‘ring boys’ to be ‘exploited and sexually abused’ by an employee Melvin Phillips Jr.
Philips Jr died in 2012, while his tenure spanned from the 1970s to the early 1990s.
McMahon’s attorney Jessica Rosenberg told USA TODAY the allegations are ‘false claims’ stemming from reporting in the 1990s, adding: ‘We will vigorously defend Mr. McMahon and are confident the court will find that these claims are untrue and unfounded.’
An attorney for Janel Grant has said: ‘The allegations in the “ring boys” lawsuit against WWE are deeply troubling.
‘Vince McMahon made sexual abuse and human trafficking a hallmark of WWE’s culture for decades. Survivors like Janel Grant and other former WWE employees deserve their day in court.’
