Yolanda Hadid Offers Support to Others as Home Featured on RHOBH Succumbs to LA Fires

Yolanda Hadid offered prayers and support to victims of the California wildfires amid news that her former home was destroyed.

On January 8, Hadid posted to her Instagram story to share a photo of the burnt ruins near her former mansion in Malibu. “Tragic…Carbon Canyon is gone,” Hadid wrote. “Sending love & support to all. Praying this will end soon.”

The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star also shared links for resources for those in need and a message to urge people to take care of frightened animals.

Hadid’s daughter Bella Hadid also posted to Instagram. “Praying for our beautiful Malibu and all of the families, homes, and businesses affected,” the model wrote. “This is a nightmare turned reality.”

According to The Daily Mail, firefighters put out the blaze that destroyed Hadid’s former Carbon Canyon Estate on January 8.

The wind-driven fires in Pacific Palisades and Malibu destroyed more than 1,000 buildings as it burned through over 17,000 acres, per The Los Angeles Daily News.

 Yolanda Hadid’s Home Was Featured on RHOBH

According to the New York Post, Hadid paid $4.5 million for the six-bedroom, 11-bathroom Carbon Canyon Estate in 2007.  She later lived in the home with her former husband, composer David Foster, and her three children, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar. The sprawling house was featured multiple times on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” where Hadid was a main cast member from 2012 to 2016.

The home, with its lemon groves and stunning glass refrigerator, was the setting for the memorable season 3 RHOBH episode titled “Don’t Sing For Your Supper.” In the episode, Hadid shared that she completely renovated the home to her specifications. “You know, I worked with 100 guys every day. I drew every inch of this house,” she said.

In a 2014 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Hadid described the Carbon Canyon Estate as her “sanctuary.”

In 2015, Hadid and Foster announced their divorce after four years of marriage. The former Bravo star sold her estate that same year for $19 million, per Architectural Digest.

Yolanda Hadid’s Former House Was Recently on the Market

In July 2024, Hadid’s former estate was put on the market for $34.995 million, according to the Robb Report.

The Mediterranean-inspired home set on 3.25 acres, was featured in a listing posted by Christie’s Intl Real Estate. In addition to a list of luxury amenities, the home boasted 11 bathrooms and six bedrooms, with a large primary suite that faced the Pacific Ocean.

As of this writing, the listing still remains on the firm’s website.
