
Yungblud has cancelled his remaining tour dates for the rest of 2025 as he reveals fear of causing ‘lasting damage’.
‘This week when I got home off the road, and went to have some tests done (like I usually do) and my voice and blood tests have raised some concerns,’ the 28-year-old announced on social media.
‘I have been ordered by my doctor to take a break from touring until the end of the year.’
Yungblud, real name Dom Harrison, then revealed that he was at first tempted to ignore advice, but decided he wasn’t going to mess around.
‘It is in my nature to run and run until l run myself to the ground without giving a f*** about anything apart from the music and you guys but this time I’ve been told I have to take it seriously and I can’t f**k around.
‘I don’t want to do any lasting damage to myself, we are on a journey that I want to last forever. I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you.’
He added: ‘My heart is broken.’
The singer then detailed that US tickets are set to be refunded, and he planned to send a gift to fans who were let down.
Yungblud also added that he was also going to strive to have some ‘more affordable’ shows next year in Mexico and Latin America that fans could also attend.
The singer’s Idols World Tour is set to continue next year with UK dates in April 2026 and dates across North America in May and June 2026.
The Abyss singer has had a tough year after being hit by a car in Paris in April.
In the summer, he also had to deal woth the death of his mentor, Ozzy Osbourne.
Ozzy had formed a close friendship with Yungblud, after crossing paths in 2022, and then becoming a mentor to the rising star. The singer even sang with Osbourne at his final ever gig, the Back to the Beginning concert in early July.
Yungblud revealed that he was texting the Prince of Darkness right up until the moment he died, and was informed by Ozzy’s son Jack that he had died.
