Nintendo’s Black Friday sale is officially live, with discounts across games, online memberships, Lego sets, and plushies.

As the Christmas season gets into full swing, Black Friday has become one of the best times to buy presents at a reasonable price.

With the standard cost of most full-priced games sitting at an uncomfortable £70, this is especially true of gaming. Black Friday isn’t technically until November 28, but thanks to rampant consumerism, it nowembodies practically the whole month.

As such, many companies have already announced Black Friday deals for the coming weeks. Sony is slashing prices significantly across PlayStation 5 consoles, while many EA games on Amazon have been notably reduced, but, as ever, the picture is a bit different when it comes to Nintendo.

Nintendo’s Black Friday sale is taking place across two separate fronts. Firstly, there are a stack of discounted games across the Nintendo eShop. Among the first party highlights are Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom at 25% off, alongside the likes of Fire Emblem Engage and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 at 33% off.

The sale extends to third party titles too. Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is down to £31.49 for the Nintendo Switch 2, while a number of older games are now astoundingly cheap; such as 2016’s Doom for £3.39 or the original Blasphemous for £4.99.

It’s worth noting that if you spend £25 or more during the Nintendo eShop sale, you’ll get one bonus month free for Nintendo Switch Online. Alternatively, you’ll get two bonus months if you spend £35 or more. All these deals run until December 1, 2025.

Highlights of Nintendo eShop Black Friday sale

Beyond the eShop, there are discounts across the My Nintendo Store. These are a bit more underwhelming, but you can pick up various Nintendo Switch 2 bundles with a free 12 month Nintendo Switch Online membership.

The best deals on the store span various other Nintendo merchandise, like Animal Crossing, Kirby, and Zelda plushies. There’s also a terrible looking plushie of Luigi with the poltergust from Luigi’s Mansion, which deserves to be in the bargain bin.

There’s some decent deals on various Animal Crossing and Mario Kart Lego sets, but that’s about it. You can check out the full line-up of deals here, or some highlights below.
