Zendaya and Tom Holland were recently spotted enjoying a low-key coffee date in Inverness, Scotland, marking one of their rare public outings together. The couple, who confirmed their engagement earlier this year, are currently overseas filming Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic.

In photos shared to social media, the “Euphoria” actress kept it casual in a cardigan layered over a white tank and black pants, while the “Uncharted” star wore a gray T-shirt, jeans and a green cap. It’s their first sighting since April, when Tom made a surprise visit to Zendaya on the set of “Euphoria.”

The couple were photographed holding coffee cups from XOKO Bakehouse, which captioned the moment on social media: “Spider-Man marvels at his XOKO Flat White, whilst in Inverness.”

Though they’ve kept their relationship mostly private since going public in 2021, engagement rumors sparked when Zendaya debuted a diamond ring at the 2025 Golden Globes—later confirmed by Tom’s father, who shared that Tom sought her dad’s blessing and planned every detail. Tom has previously said he avoids red carpets with Zendaya to respect her spotlight, telling GQ in 2021, “A moment between two people… is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.”

Later that evening, Zendaya gave Inverness locals another reason to smile when she stopped by Miele’s Gelataria for an impromptu dessert run, according to reports. The 28-year-old star visited the shop with her team around 8 p.m., stunning staff who didn’t expect a visit from a Hollywood A-lister.

“She was so kind,” 16-year-old superfan Joss Tonico told The Press and Journal. “She took photos with me and was polite… The whole thing was just a blur, to be honest.”

Reportedly, Zendaya asked for recommendations and ultimately chose a sweet mix of mint, butterscotch and Stracciatella, topped with Nutella sauce. The gelateria later posted a photo of Zendaya with staff and teased, “Seemingly, she wants to come back for a few more testers with Tom.”

Filming for ‘The Odyssey’ Heats Up Across Scotland

Zendaya and Tom are currently filming “The Odyssey”, Christopher Nolan’s new adaptation of the Greek epic, which is set to hit theaters on July 17, 2026. The couple was seen arriving at the Burghead Harbor set on July 14, alongside co-star Matt Damon, who was seen in full costume as Odysseus.

Damon stars as the legendary Greek hero, while Holland takes on the role of his son, Telemachus. Zendaya is also part of the film’s star-studded ensemble, which includes Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, Elliot Page and Benny Safdie.

The film—shot across seven countries including Morocco, Greece and Sicily—recently premiered its first teaser exclusively in theaters. Universal Pictures confirmed that the movie was filmed using brand-new IMAX technology, promising a visually rich and large-scale retelling of the ancient story.

With Nolan behind the camera and a “dream team” cast in front of it, The Odyssey is shaping up to be a global cinematic event when it hits theaters in 2026.
