Zoë Kravitz has apparently been left unimpressed after a network airing one of her past shows used her relationship with Harry Styles to promote it.

Last year the American actress, 37, was spotted in Rome with the British pop star, 32.

They went on to travel to cities like London and New York together before it was revealed a few weeks ago that after eight months of dating, they were now engaged.

Although the couple are yet to confirm the news, Zoë has been spotted wearing a massive rock on her ring finger, which she then made efforts to hide during her appearance at the Met Gala earlier this week.

While the pair haven’t commented publicly on their relationship, the actress has now hit out after promotional material for her series High Fidelity mentioned her rumoured fiancé.

In 2020 Zoë starred in the romantic comedy, which was based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Nick Hornby and its 2000 film adaptation.

In it she played Robyn ‘Rob’ Brooks, a young record store owner who revisits her past relationships through music and popular culture.

Although the series received positive reviews from critics and fans – while the actress’ performance was also called ‘magnetic’ – it was cancelled after one season.

Last week Hulu – which released the series in the US – shared a now-deleted post which showed Zoë’s character and read: ‘Robyn Brooks definitely has Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally on her playlist.’

However, she didn’t appear to warm to the link between her and Harry’s work, commenting ‘this is tacky’ on the post. She also tagged the Disney-owned streaming service.

Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally is the title of Harry’s most recent album, which was released in March.

High Fidelity was a gender-flipped adaptation of the novel and film, which Zoë’s mum Lisa Boney had actually featured in.

At the time the series was cancelled, Zoë shared a now-deleted Instagram post in which she did a shout out to the people she’d worked on it with.

‘I wanna give a shout out to my #highfidelity family. Thank you for all the love and heart you put into this show. I’m in awe of all of you. And thank you to everyone who watched, loved and supported us. #breakupssuck,’ she said.

Commenting on the post, actress Tessa Thompson wrote: ‘I will miss you alllllllllllll so much.’

Then appearing to take aim at Hulu for their lack of diversity Zoë, who was also an executive producer on the show, wrote: ‘It’s cool. At least Hulu has a ton of other shows starring women of colour we can watch. Oh wait…’

The daughter of actress Lisa and musician Lenny Kravitz, Zoë had her acting breakthrough in X-Men: First Class in 2011 and has since gone to appear in the Fantastic Beasts franchise and The Batman, as well as in Big Little Lies and The Studio TV series’.

She was married to American actor Karl Glusman for two years before they split in 2021 and was then engaged to Channing Tatum, however they broke up in October 2024.

After being seen together in the Italian capital last summer, Harry and Zoë were allegedly seen ‘snogging like teenagers’ in a London bar.

The pair were reportedly seen kissing at Rita’s bistro in Soho following the premiere of her movie, Caught Stealing in August.

‘Harry and Zoë were tucked away in a corner in Rita’s and were snogging like teenagers,’ a source told The Sun at the time.

‘They seemed really into each other and didn’t seem to care if anyone saw them kissing.

‘She had been at the Caught Stealing premiere, which is a 10-minute walk away from the bar. They walked in together; it was definitely a date. They make a gorgeous couple.’

They added at the time: ‘This is very early days; there are no labels. They’re having a lot of fun together.’

However, when news of their engagement was revealed earlier this month, a source told Page Six that he was ‘completely smitten’, while she was ‘on cloud nine’.

High Fidelity is streaming on Disney Plus.
