A 14-year-old boy was shot while sitting in a parked car Monday night in North Lawndale on the West Side.
Around 8:15 p.m., the teen was sitting in a car in the 3400 block of West Grenshaw Street when someone opened fire and struck him in his left leg, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody; Area 4 detectives are investigating.
