A 14-year-old Indigenous girl was reported missing Sunday from Lakewood, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
Lilja Maddison was last seen at about 4:40 p.m. Sunday near 5000 West Virginia Avenue in northeast Lakewood, investigators said in a missing person alert.
Lilja is described as a 4-foot-11-inch, 101-pound, teenage girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She is affiliated with the Blackfoot Indigenous American tribe, according to CBI officials.
When she was last spotted, Lilja was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a beanie and black-and-white Converse shoes, police said.
Anyone who sees the Lilja or has any information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Lakewood Police Department at 303-987-7914.
