Two 15-year-old boys were wounded in a shooting late Wednesday in Calumet Heights, according to police.
They were standing outside in the 9200 block of South Merrill Avenue at 11:30 p.m. when they got into an argument with someone that became physical, Chicago police said in a statement.
The other person, who police said was male, then opened fire at the boys, striking one in the arm and the other in the leg, police said.
The first boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition. The other took himself to Trinity Hospital and was also listed in good condition. Police said no one was in custody.
