2 critically wounded in Roseland shooting

A man and woman were shot while standing outside Sunday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

They were in the 11000 block of South Normal Avenue when they were approached by an armed male who shot at them around 4:30 p.m, Chicago police said.

The man, 31, was shot in the wrist, abdomen and clavicle. He transported himself to Roseland Hospital, where he was in critical condition, police said. The woman, 40, was wounded in the arm and was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

No arrests were made.
