A 2-year-old was wounded Monday night after firing a gun he found in a Humboldt Park residence, Chicago police said.
The boy was in a bedroom in a residence in the 400 block of North Lawndale Avenue at 8:26 p.m. when an adult man in the residence heard a loud noise and found the injured child, who was grazed in the wrist, police said. The child was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
A weapon was recovered at the scene, and no one is in custody, police said.
