Three Chicago police officers were injured while responding to a fight at a funeral home Saturday afternoon on the West Side.
About 12:25 p.m., officers responding to a fight in the 4300 block West Madison Street in West Garfield Park were battered by a group of people at the scene, Chicago police officials.
Three officers were taken to area hospitals where they were treated and released, police said.
One man has been charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest and aggravated assault. Charges are pending against two other individuals.
Chicago police have not released any information on the nature of the call or the circumstances of the attack.
