A 62-year-old woman was struck and killed by a driver Saturday in Irving Park.
The driver of a Nissan, a 35-year-old woman, hit the pedestrian about 5:15 p.m. in the 4500 block of West Belmont Avenue, Chicago police said.
The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
It’s unclear if the driver stayed on scene. Detectives are investigating.
