Agua Dulce Winery where ‘Westworld,’ ‘Parks and Recreation’ filmed asks $7M

Los Angeles County’s largest operating vineyard and winery estate is on the market for $6.95 million.

Sprawling across nearly 100 acres in the Sierra Pelona Valley just north of Los Angeles, the Agua Dulce Winery in Santa Clarita offers 26,000 square feet of indoor space across different types of structures. They include a five-bedroom, five-bathroom residence, a cellar lined floor-to-ceiling with French oak barrels, a bottling plant, a retail tasting room and a two-story event barn.

Nearby, an open-air pavilion features a large-scale stone fireplace and brick floor.

News archives report that wine industry veteran Barry Goldfarb through the California limited liability company Agua Dulce Winery LLC paid $3 million for the struggling vineyard at auction in July 2010.

According to the Los Angeles Business Journal, Goldfarb spent close to seven figures on upgrades to the infrastructure and commercial operations, transforming the premises into a hospitality destination.

Vineyards provide a scenic backdrop for the single-story home, which features a grand entrance framed by columns.

Soaring ceilings, French doors, clerestory windows and wood flooring define the living room.

A combined family and dining area connects to the eat-in kitchen, which features black and white-checkerboard flooring, Viking stainless steel appliances, a center island, a breakfast bar and a butler’s pantry.

The primary suite has a fireplace, built-in office and plenty of closet space, while the bathroom offers a soaking tub surrounded by a multi-sided window bay, a glass-enclosed shower and a vanity.

The property maintains Conditional Use Permits for its winery operations. Agua Dulce Winery produces chardonnay, zinfandel, syrah, cabernet sauvignon and sangiovese and blends.

Beyond commercial winemaking, the property generates revenue from a 3,500-member wine club, retail wine sales, event hosting and short-term rentals.

The expansive grounds also served as a filming location for Hollywood productions. Television series shot on site include “Westworld,” “Parks and Recreation” and “NCIS: LA.”

The property provides 150 parking spaces and is just minutes from the Agua Dulce Airport, the Pacific Crest Trail and Vasquez Rocks area.

In 2016, Goldfarb listed the winery for $12.8 million. It has been on and off the market for several years, with a high asking price of $14.99 million in August 2023.

More recently, Agua Dulce Winery entered the auction market through Concierge Auctions in July 2026. While the property carried a $10 million list price going in, and organizers scheduled the live event for Aug. 15 as part of Monterey Car Week, the auction appears to have concluded without a buyer. Concierge Auctions did not respond to inquiries seeking comment.

The property has since resurfaced on the multiple listing service Monday, October 12, at its current asking price.

Adam Brawer of Compass holds the listing.
