If “Gilmore Girls” fans ever dreamed of being a part of Stars Hollow during the holidays, they are in luck; Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is recreating the charming small town from the beloved series for a limited time.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of “Gilmore Girls,” Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood’s annual “Holidays Are Made Here” event will recreate the show’s heartwarming town, home to sharp-witted banter and endless cups of coffee.
From Dec. 18 through Jan. 4 (except on Christmas Day), fans can experience Stars Hollow in all of its holiday glory through the eyes of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. The set will feature twinkling lights, themed treats and festive activities. It will also feature daily appearances by actor Scott Patterson, aka Luke Danes, who served caffeinated beverages and gruff charm to the little town’s population. While there are no appearances publicly scheduled in advance, Patterson is scheduled to appear every day for the duration of the fan event.
Among other experiences, guests can revel in Midwest Street, the show’s filming location, for fun activations. Fans can schedule a tea session inspired by Emily Gilmore, wander through Lorelai’s house, sample a “Friday night dinner” at the Dragonfly Inn, and visit Miss Patty’s School of Ballet, all of which will be wrapped in holiday ambiance. Other activations include a dance, costume meetups, holiday cookie decorating, carolers, scavenger hunts, themed photo ops, and a grand finale tree-lighting ceremony.
Tickets for the event, which runs 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m. daily from Dec. 18 through Jan. 4, begin at $76 at wbstudiotour.com. A Stars Hollow Food Passport add-on can also be purchased for $65. It includes any four snack items and any two premium treats from Luke’s Diner, Weston’s Bakery, Al’s Pancake World, Antonioli‘s Pizzeria, Taylor’s Old Fashioned Soda Shoppe, Hewe’s Bros. Garage and more, also available for purchase online.
