The former Prince Andrew has had his gun licence stripped away from him as more Epstein details are revealed.

In the latest hit to the 65-year-old, who was a keen huntsman, specialist officers visited Royal Lodge in Windsor and took away his certification.

The new commoner is now at risk of standing out at his posh shooting parties as he can no longer use the shotguns and rifles he owns.

A source told The Sun: ‘It’s a real blow to him. He will be under strict supervision. It is a real blow.’

Officers arrived at his Royal home, which he does not pay rent on, but one of Andrew’s staff members was sent to speak to them instead.

They are not believed to have seized the firearms but placed new conditions on how they are kept and who has access.

Gun licences are reviewed regularly but police can choose to act sooner than scheduled if the holder has had a ‘change of circumstance’ or there are public safety fears.

The Metropolitan Police said: ‘On Wednesday November 19, firearms licensing officers attended an address in Windsor to request that a man in his 60s voluntarily surrender his firearms and shotgun certificate.

‘The certificate was surrendered, and we will not be commenting any further at this stage.’

It comes as new images of Andrew are being revealed to the public as more Jeffrey Epstein documents are released.

One picture even shows him lying across the laps of five women with Ghislaine Maxwell grinning in the background.

Andrew stepped down from royal duties in 2019 after his disastrous Newsnight interview about his links to the paedophile financier.

But the publication of Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, and the US government’s release of new documents from Epstein’s estate, brought more scrutiny on the relationship.

It led to the King officially stripping his disgraced brother of both his HRH style and his prince title. He vehemently denies any wrongdoing.
