Angel Reese listing Lemont home for $1.45 million, two months after Sky trade

Former Sky forward and first-round draft pick Angel Reese is planning to sell her Lemont home for $1.45 million.

The property is expected to hit the market on Monday, according to listing details on Redfin.

This comes roughly two months after the two-time WNBA All-Star was traded to the Dream, in a deal that included the Dream’s first-round draft picks in 2027 and 2028. The teams will also swap second-round picks in 2028.

In April 2025, the Maryland native bought the southwest suburban home for $1.28 million, listing details show.

The 3,600-square-foot property at 12735 Caruso Court has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It has an open-concept design with a great room near the chef’s kitchen, custom window treatments, updated lighting, a first-floor study, entertainment room, three-car garage, a lookout basement and fully-fenced backyard.

Reese bought the home on a 0.41-acre lot through a limited liability company, according to county records. At the time, Reese celebrated becoming a homeowner on X, posting a photo that had green check emojis next to the phrases “retire my momma” and “become a homeowner.”

Listing agent Justin Penn of Keller Williams ONEChicago declined to comment. Penn represented Reese in the home purchase.

The Sky drafted the 6’4’’ forward with the 7th pick in the 2024 draft.

The outspoken basketball star in 2023 carried the Louisiana State University Tigers to their first national championship, defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes and rival Caitlin Clark. Reese received the Most Outstanding Player award for her spectacular performance during the women’s Final Four that year.

During her college career, Reese racked up several notable name, image and likeness, or NIL, deals, including with Reebok, Amazon and Calvin Klein, USA Today reported.

The social media star is the most followed WNBA player on Instagram with more than 5.2 million followers. Clark, a guard for the Fever, is a distant second with 3.7 million followers.

Reese signed a four-year, rookie contract with the Sky for $324,383, according to Spotrac. This year, she will earn a base salary of $350,692.
