A ‘dangerous’ anti-Islam influencer has been blocked from entering the UK to speak at Tommy Robinson’s Unite the Kingdom rally.

Valentina Gomez dared the Government to stop her while suggesting Donald Trump’s White House would intervene if the authorities tried to arrest her.

The US-based influencer, who gained notoriety through stunts including burning a copy of the Quran, was banned by Shabana Mahmood after massive backlash.

Responding to the decision with a video on her X account, Gomez said: ‘I just got banned from England. Plan A is for an aeroplane, and since that’s no longer an option, we’re going to plan B, and Plan B is for boats.

‘I’m going to hop on a boat, get free luxury accommodation, deliver my beautiful speech, and if they dare to arrest me, I guarantee you that the White House will get involved.

‘I’m not just coming with Jesus Christ, I’m coming with current and former soldiers of the US military. If they really want to deny my entry, well, they’re just going to have to stop the boats.’

She also called Home Secretary Mahmood a ‘dirty Pakistani Muslim’ in horrific remarks after her ban.

Who is Valentina Gomez?

Gomez, who was born in Colombia, has been a staunch supporter of MAGA and far-right rhetoric.

She and her family moved to the US in 2009, but has based her political stance on anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ and anti-Muslim rhetoric.

She gained notoriety after burning a copy of the Quran with a flamethrower, vowing to ‘end Islam in Texas’.

After running to be a US Representative, Gomez won only 9.63% of the votes.

She’s kept up her profile by sharing videos, which have seen her banned from many social media platforms, including a video where she shot a dummy tied to a chair with a black bag over its head, saying it represented an immigrant.

Why has she been banned?

Gomez was due to speak at the Unite the Kingdom rally in central London on May 16.

Its previous protest in September, which Gomez spoke at, was attended by between 110,000 and 150,000 people.

The Home Secretary – who has the power to cancel a person’s permission to enter or stay in the UK – intervened because her presence would not be conducive to the public good, it is understood.

The same justification was used for blocking rapper Kanye West from entering earlier this month.
