Apple debuts watches with new hypertension feature, sleep score

(Bloomberg/Mark Gurman) — Apple Inc. rolled out the first end-to-end update to its smartwatch line in three years, debuting upgraded Series 11, Ultra and SE models.

Apple introduced the new smartwatches Tuesday at a product launch event it dubbed “awe dropping,” which also included the iPhone 17 line. The watches will help Apple fend off competition from Garmin Ltd. at the high end and Google’s Fitbit at the low end.

Here are the new features for each of the new Apple Watch models:

Bloomberg News first reported on plans for the new Apple Watches, including the Ultra 3’s satellite mode and the updated Series 11 screen.
