An 18-year-old accused of shooting into a car carrying a man, woman and three children after a sales meetup gone wrong in Aurora was charged with first-degree attempted murder, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said Monday.
Christopher Campos-Anguiano was arrested after police say he opened fire on a vehicle near Airport Boulevard and Colfax Avenue the night of April 12, injuring a man, a woman and a 12-year-old girl.
According to Aurora police, Campos-Anguiano took items from the victims without paying and fled, shooting at their car when they followed him.
He is charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and four counts of assault and a weapons charge, all felonies, as well as three counts of misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
Campos-Anguiano is in custody on $200,000 bail and is set to appear in court May 9, records show.
