Aurora police search for missing at-risk 43-year-old man who walked away from University Hospital using a cane


Aurora police issued an alert seeking public help in their search Tuesday morning for a 43-year-old man with a limp who walked away from University Hospital.

The man identified only as Joshua, who functions at an 8-year-old level and limps due to partial paralysis, was last seen wearing a blue Nuggets shirt, jeans, and white shoes, the police said in a posting on X, the social media site formerly called Twitter. He uses a cane, police said. Anybody with information on his whereabouts is asked to call a police dispatcher at 303-627-3100.
