MacDonald basketball player Mateen Mazhar is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Dec. 8-13.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Mazhar Mazhar had 13.7% of the vote to finish ahead of California basketball player Brayde Kuykendall, who was second at 11.4%
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Mazhar, a senior, scored 33 points in MacDonald’s 81-30 win over Hill.
