Half Moon Bay football player Paxton Holden is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Nov 3-8.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Holden finished with 93.8% of the vote. Gunderson football player Andrew Fernandez was second.

Holden, a sophomore quarterback, ran for 284 yards on 13 carries, scored three touchdowns and ran in a two-point conversion to lead Half Moon Bay to a 59-28 victory on the road over rival Terra Nova in the Skull Game.
