The Bears will open training camp July 29 and plan to hold 10 practices open to the public at Halas Hall. The team announced the dates Wednesday.
The open dates begin with the third and fourth practices of training camp, July 31 and Aug. 1, and continue with Aug. 4-6, 8-9, 13, 18 and 25.
Tickets are free, though space is significantly limited at Halas Hall, and will be available on the Bears’ website July 8 at 10 a.m. They typically go within minutes.
The Bears’ joint practices on the road with the Bengals (Aug. 20) and Titans (Aug. 27) ahead of their preseason games with those teams also are open to the public, but the host teams control admission.
Along with the rest of the NFL, the team currently is on break for the summer. Mandatory report day for Bears veterans is July 28, while rookies and quarterbacks will report ahead of that.
They begin the preseason Aug. 15 at home against the Browns and start the regular season Sept. 13 at the Panthers.
