Bears running back D’Andre Swift was named one of two FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week on Wednesday, five days after running for 125 yards and catching passes for 13 more in a 24-15 win against the Eagles.
He shared the title with the quarterback the Bears will face Sunday at Lambeau Field: the Packers’ Jordan Love, who went 18-for-30 for 234 yards and four touchdowns in a Thanksgiving Day win against the Lions.
Swift beat out two other running back nominees: the Dolphins’ De’Vone Achane, who ran 22 times for 134 yards and a touchdown, and the Falcons’ Bijan Robinson, who ran for 142 yards and caught 51 yards’ worth of passes.
Swift is the third Bears player to win the award in the past two seasons. Quarterback Caleb Williams won once last year and again after a Week 3 win this season against the Cowboys.
