Bears predictions: Week 11 at Vikings

The Sun-Times’ Bears experts make their pick for Sunday’s game against the Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium (noon, Fox 32):

Patrick Finley

Vikings, 31-30: The Bears have won one out of their last nine games against the Vikings, the third-worst active stretch against one opponent in the NFL over the past five seasons Season: 6-3.

Jason Lieser

Bears, 31-28: The Vikings are a step up from the teams the Bears have played lately, so they must step up to the challenge. Caleb Williams, in particular, needs to prove something. Season: 5-4.

Scoop Jackson

Vikings, 30-22: Sometimes you pick for the storyline and the drama instead of the believed outcome. Lions and Bears lose, Vikes and Packs win. The standings of the NFC North Monday morning… yeah, worth being wrong. Season: 3-6.

Steve Greenberg

Vikings, 27-23: Every time I begin to allow for the possibility the Bears are a legit NFC North contender, something stops me — and that something is their 7-25 division record since the start of the 2020 season. OK, so it’s not the only thing. But it tops the list. Season: 7-2.

Mark Potash

Vikings, 27-24: The Bears are legit even without a signature victory under Ben Johnson — and will be out to avenge their Week 1 loss. But the Vikings get the edge at home in a critical game at 4-5 after losing to the Ravens last week . Season: 7-2.
